Carolina Handling Skybox Welcomes Military, First Responders During BMW Charity Pro-Am
A VIP view of the BMW Charity Pro-Am, a simulated drive on a Raymond lift truck and the chance to win a trip to the nation’s capital all will be on tap in the Carolina Handling Military and First Responders Skybox during the 2023 BMW Charity Pro-Am June 8-11 at Thornblade Club in Greenville, South Carolina.
Located on the 18th green, Carolina Handling’s Military and First Responders Skybox is a premier hospitality area exclusively for military veterans and first responders attending the four-day Korn Ferry tournament, where amateurs and celebrities are grouped with tour professionals in a better-ball competition. The skybox sponsorship helps support the work of the Palmetto State Chapter of Folds of Honor and Upstate Warrior Solution.
“Our partnership with the BMW Charity Pro-Am allows military veterans and first responders the opportunity to enjoy one of the Upstate’s leading events. It also supports two outstanding veteran organizations,” said Carolina Handling President & CEO Brent Hillabrand. “We’re proud that 13 percent of Carolina Handling associates served in the U.S. Armed Forces, and we’re always eager to support activities that recognize and honor the sacrifices of our service members.”
BMW Charity Pro-Am visitors can compete for daily prizes as they perform maneuvers and load handling operations via a forklift simulator located near the Carolina Handling Military & First Responders Skybox.
Service members, military veterans and first responders also can enter an online contest to win a trip for two to Washington, D.C. that includes round-trip airfare, four nights in a five-star hotel, tickets to a sightseeing bus tour and a Potomac River gourmet dinner cruise on The Odyssey. Carolina Handling associates and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
