Carolina Handling Honored as a Top Private Company
Once again, Carolina Handling has made the Grant Thornton North Carolina 100® (NC100) list, which honors top private companies in North Carolina.
And we’re continuing to climb the charts—rising three spots from last year to number #47.
A contender, year after year
Carolina Handling has spent many consecutive years on the NC100. We owe this to our hard-working employees and loyal customers, who help us maintain our status as one of the most trusted material handling dealerships in the Southeast region.
How NC100 honorees are selected
Since 1984, the NC100 has celebrated North Carolina’s top privately held companies—which include everything from family-owned businesses to large corporations. Grant Thornton partners with Business North Carolina magazine to compile the annual NC100 list, which is then published in the magazine.
Honorees apply to the list voluntarily, and are selected and ranked based on their revenue from the previous fiscal year. To be considered, companies must be headquartered in North Carolina. Corporate subsidiaries, nonprofits, financial services companies, and health care providers such as hospitals and doctors’ offices are not eligible.
